Solution to my fuel issues - single tank conversion or am I being to simplistic???

I have an International truck with dual tanks and it is rigged where it only pulls fuel from one tank. The two tanks are connected by a hose that runs from the bottom of each. The second tank drains into the first as the fuel level changes keeping the fuel level the same in both tanks. Could you...

    My m915a1xm1

Thanks for the comments guys. Yes it has the Allison tranny. Loaded the truck is around 50,000 lbs. and moves with ease. It has plenty of power and the load is easy for the truck. Empty it is around 26k lbs. and in need of an air seat. Loaded its nice and smooth. The only things I am going to...

    My m915a1xm1

I bought the m915a1 tractor from another Florida member earlier this year. I finally got to work on it a month or so ago. I stretched the frame 4 feet and added another 5 feet to the rear. We then painted it and put on super single wheels and 46" xml tires. Then we topped it off with our 3,000...

    M915a1 new paint

Yes take off the grill guard the trucks look much better without them. I think I would leave the rear window stone guard on though - Just in case.

    M813 Or M35A2?

I would get the 5 ton. If you think its too big you could always sell it and get a M35.

    M915a1 brake light wiring?

I have wired the tail lights back and have everything working except for the brake lights. I have looked on the schematic and can only find brake lights listed for the black out lights. The m915 has brake lights right? If so please let me know where to look for the correct wire. We have...

    Non-Collector working Deuce's

I use mine for work. It stays in my shop most of the year. I pull it out for work around 3 times a year when we need it on rough and sandy jobs.

I remember a thread by docfarmall showing one of his trucks with a front hitch.

That's up to you. You can cover it with a tarp or shrink wrap it or whatever you want.

Guess I'm looking at head gaskets

^^^^ If your running a loose radiator cap and running at top speed you will loose coolant thru the cap for sure.

A tricky question for the SS oracles

I agree just put it on a flat rack. I just had my most important piece of equipment (for business) shipped to and from the caribbean and it came out of it with no problems at all. It was on a flat rack on the top deck. Didnt have any signs of salt spray or anything. :)

LD, LDT, LDS Horsepower and Torque

They may be different, but I dont know how. I replaced my hh with one from a 5 ton wrecker and the rest of the injection pump looks exactly like the one on my LDT.

    AVM or Selectro Hubs

I just had a set delivered fresh from Mile Marker. They are still in production. The delivery took 2 or 3 weeks. I think they manufacture them as ordered (just a guess). As for the profile, the Selectro's are only a 1/2 inch taller than the stock cap.

    Can someone identify this body?

I dont think that's right. I think in Florida he will need a cdl license. It's been a long time since I went thru all that, but I think he'll need a class B. Just so you know for a semi truck you need a class A and for large straight trucks you need a class B as long as your not pulling a...
