Good to hear that there's a possibility its normal. I haven't taken apart the air dryer yet, but I'd imagine its well overdue a cleaning/replacement. I've had the truck for 500 miles since picking up at the auction so still noticing odds and ends. Unfamiliar with diesels so its a learning curve

So to add to the saga of things that need to get addressed, I noticed the air dryer purging some oil. Its not a puddle or anything, but the wet tank has a small leak from the drain valve and the tank is getting oily around it. There's also a patch of oily grass under where the air dryer purges...

Makes sense. It seems the only way it'd be worth it if the R&P could be bought new as single parts with no disassembly required. Ill look into it as am in the market for 3.07's but turned off by the ridiculous price

Very cool idea, especially given the fact if there's a way to screw something up, Ill be the first to find it. I like the idea of wiring the turn signals and brake lights to the ignition switch, I've already forgotten a time or two and took off with no lights. Ill look into doing something...

On the topic of 3.07s, has anyone found a reasonable deal on a set? Going rate currently seems to be around $4k from a guy on fleabay.

I should have researched this before going out and spending $75 on an "LMTV" ignition switch when the same result could have been achieved with a $12 ignition switch from amazon.

That makes sense, so Ill keep the rocker switch for power and just use the ignition switch to take place of the start button. Thanks for the info!
