I found a bracket a few towns over where a guy was parting out old squarebodies via FB marketplace. Thanks for keeping an eye out for me!
The price wasn't bad either. He has some impressive builds out front, and a lot of good parts trucks for those interested: extremeoffroadnc (FB and insta)...
Where did you find a bracket? I have a fully built up 700R4 and cable but I can't find a tv bracket for the 6.2? (The $400 on ebay is a bit much.)
Also did you do the lockup kit - if so which?

The truck has 3 wires to the original water in fuel sensor. The duramax filter bottom has 2 wires. I haven't found the actual harness wiring for the WIF in the TM's yet... Trying to keep the WIF light working if I can.

If you've had the fuel system open recently, it might still have air in the lines leading up to the IP. (My experience anyway - leaky filter.) I have to push the air through the system by cranking when that happens. Takes about 10-30 seconds of cranking which I break up into about 4 second...
Old thread but I think I found a new way to melt that line. If your passenger alternator swings inboard too far (while adjusting belts for example) and the rubber boot gets pinched/pushed out of the way, the innermost threaded terminal on the alt will touch the fuel lines running by there and...
