Amazon.com: Siless 80 mil (2mm) 36 sqft (3.4 sqm) Car Sound Deadening mat - Butyl Automotive Sound Deadener - Noise Insulation and Vibration Dampening Material (36 sqft) : Automotive
This one was the stuff I thought was sound deadener: Amazon.com: Abahub 394 mil 16 sqft Car Hood Insulation...
Did the sound deadening make a big difference? I installed what I thought was sound deadening from the advertisement, but it really was just insulation for hit, its way too light to be a sound deadener. I don't want to rip it out so I may just do the sound deadening in the firewall.
I use some...
Does anyone know if there's a napa number for the brake rotors? I'm considering changing them since Im doing the rears and already have one off. I also don't like how one of them look since I drove it a little with no pads left on one side
I've been thinking about doing a big block swap possibly, I would much rather a diesel but a gas engine can easily cruise at 3k RPMs which would make doing 55-60 easy. I know the MPG would drop but the cost between gas/diesel would make the operating cost roughly the same. Not to mention, the...
Anyone in here that changed the rear brake pads and not the rotors? I'm curious to know how hard is it and is any special tools required, I done the front last year but I had to take off the radiator to get the driver side done, I'm hoping the back pads don't be nearly as hard or tight like the...
I've finally made my way back to this, it ended up being the external wiring harness, the whole wiring was a hack job, the wire that controls the torque converter had come out the crimp.
Just curious, has anyone ever built/fabricated a hard door on the soft door frame? I'm thinking about doing this so I can switch between soft and hard doors without worrying about the stryker, and to be honest, I'm not a fan of the x doors and starting to get a bit tired of them
Mines just don't want to lock/unlock the torque converter when it gets up to highway speed which makes the RPMs be around 2,500-2600 at 60Mph and for some reason it loses overdrive if Im in heavy stop/go traffic after driving for about an hour, I think that probably has something to do with the...
Jeez, I bet the rates on that 3m policy is insane, I'm looking for the 1M policy, I had got a quote through progressive on just my 08 colorado and it was 1k a month for just a 1m policy
After reading all of this, it's actually unbelievable that Colorado hates MVs so much, I thought California was bad, but this is next level. You can't even go to parades or special events. You might as well just sell your MV if you're in Colorado or put it outside for a yard ornament, after...
I thought about doing the same thing with that guy is doing on facebook. List all of my MVs for an insane price and if someone is foolish enough to bite, I can buy 3 of the same MVs
This right here is exactly why I didn't use a plastic fuel hose when I bypass the FDC. I recommend putting your hazards/blinkers on when driving on the highway, usually the troopers would ignore you in that case or a slow speed vehicle sign in the back.
