    So uhm, what did that dohickey look like? I can't remember anything on the floorboards of any of the CUCV's I saw when I was in the Marines about 5 years ago.

    I put new door weatherstripping on Big Ugly today and noticed that the padding under the carpet was wet. Added that to my list of things to do under the heading of "remove". Interestingly on the passenger side there appears to be some kind of bracket on the floor about the size of a battery...
