    M1009 Tailgate Latch Repair?

    Looks like whatever is left in the tailgate is not stock. Didn't take a picture of what my tailgate looked like without the latch, but it didn't look like that. It had a part that the clutch fits into. Not that rod. Just replaced the handle assembly on the M1009 here. This is what it looks like...
