    UPDATE... I am making headway in the rust battle! Plus thanks to Carnac I have found where my truck came from and Im in contact with the base master sargent in charge of maintinence. Thanks for all the support!

    I received a reply from the manager of manitinece Europe (civilian employeed). She said 70% of all work is done by private civilian contracters in Europe. This truck was repaired by a MB dealer in Frankfort Germany at the cost of €15.193,04 less than 1 year ago. This was ONLY body work and...

    WOW this make me feel better. I thought this was with European trucks and not USA. Its a shame the US goverment paid for this shoddy work. Left is the before. Look at the tape they used as back filler support! I cut out all the "cancer" welded in stainless steel and covered it with fiber glass.

    I just picked (last week) up my latest entry a M923A2. After driving it 1400 kms home I got to looking at some strange paint that turned out to be black silicone. I started poking it found out it was covering holes! The holes were indented like damage from shrapnel (hope I spelled that right)...
