    No a 250 and 8.3 are totally different motors, if you turbo it and have big tires you will have a a1 with a turbo.

    It is also according to what truck you are talking about and what you are going to use it for. For my money a wrecker should have a big OTR motor ie 250 or bigger and stick shift. Bobbed playtoy 8.3 because it is lighter and auto would be nice to run around town in. So give us something to go on...
