I am more of a picker then a scrapper.... they all run. they are all about 90%. so my goal is to get them all running and dispurse accordingly. Or I may just keep em all. Who can say they have a dozen deuces!!! Anyway, i couldn't scrap em. I love my old stuff, matter fact I just got a 64 dodge...
To be honest they did get scrapped..... I own a scrap yard and they called me, so I threw a number out and they said ok..... and now I have 11 of em. Traded one for shipping. 300 mile round trip with 2 semi's hauling 2 at a time and one truck hauling one. So we got 5 out at once. I loet the guy...
Most of em have tranny problems. Gonna yank trannys and rebuild right. They all start and run. Then I'm gonna get the breaks back on em! Probably disc.
they ran these trucks for 30 years in that canyon..... I'm not sure the mechanics were exactly top notch though. As for propane tank, yes, they have all been converted to propane!!
As bad I would love to keep em all and get em all going..... I will probably sell a few here and there. I am going through them now, hard to choose which one or two i wanna keep.
Well Heard bout that before I got these trucks, And to be honest I'm not real sure they know what caused that truthfully, They still have that truck that went off there, and honestly one accident in 30 years. No doubt I feel sorrow for people involved, and yes a true lesson of preventive...
