    Yes, the stock hardware on the B pillar works with only one small issue. The hole in the seat belt "reel" is ever so slightly undersized. I was able to clean it up with a 1/2" drill bit and cordless drill.

    Honestly, I borrowed the idea from an earlier thread post. Start around post #2744 and read on. The belts are available from ebay for less than $20/pair, search for HMMWV seat belts. It's well worth the effort...

    Installed HMMWV seatbelts in the old M1009. A few snags with the bolts in the floor, but all is well now. I would highly recommend this upgrade/mod if your seat belts are as bad as mine were.

    This week's project was a tough and dirty job. I had a small, annoying oil leak to chase down, only a few drips, but a lot of built up wet crud. 8-10 hours later, I had replaced the oil pan gasket, rear main seal, rubber fuel lines, fuel pump and gaskets. Now that the job is done, I'm very happy...
