    I would see what other members are located around you and see if they can look at it with you or see if you can take a bu h of pics of the truck and post them.

    If the current owner is asking a cheap price, then you can't go wrong if the rest of the truck seems to be in decent shape. I didn't really think about it, but Porky is right on the truck pulling, it's a risk, but I'm sure you will figure things out and find the safest way to do it, if you buy it.

    Don't drive it. Mine did that. The temp gauge didn't show it was overheating then it was too late. I melted a piston, bent a rod and locked up the motor. That was going easy and slow and allowing frequent stops to keep the engine from working to hard. Now it went from a simple head gasket repair...
