    Custom Trailer Axles (M105)

    You should be fine. The wheels and tires you're stripping off weight around 340# total. The axle with drums should be around 400# and the brake parts could be another 40 or 50#. By the time you put the 5200# axle in I'd say you are still loosing 400# or more.
