    UPDATE: I bought a positive rectifier off of the bay for $15 and soldered it in. I have not reinstalled the alternator yet to see if it works. I came upon a extra alternator so I am running that one right now. It figures that I end up with the Greek one that you can get virtually no parts for.

    Well some idiot (me) adjusted the output on my alternator and did not replace the plug. My rheostat was screwed up by the previous owner and I had to keep adjusting it.
