my thanks to all who responded. NDT, do you know by chance, when these have been re-engined with the other types you mentioned, was it possible to use the original transmission and transfer? i am a purist with MV's, BUT who wants to spend that kind of money for an engine known for catastrophic...

i'm giving some serious thought to an M725, but it would need a complete original engine and trans assembly. since i have never owned one of these, i'm unfamiliar with the suppliers and what is or isn't available. if any one could give me some idea of the costs i should expect for this parts...
