I am bringing about 8 sets of slave cables and a bunch of water/fuel jerry cans. I also have some other odds-n-ends, bring some $$ I don't want to take this stuff back home!
Just what I needed!! The 920 cut off on me on the way to my house today, found a melted battery terminal (as in, melted lead in a puddle below the terminal), rigged it with vise grips to get it home (I was about 1/4 mile from home). I have started stripping the wiring harness that has the...
If anyone has some golf balls that they need to get rid of, BRING them! Let's just say I am bringing a device that will relocate golf balls at a very long distance away.
As of now I have at least 20 fuel cans.
$50 at the Rally
$40 if pre-paid via paypal as a gift and delivered to the rally
Slave cables will be $225 at the rally, $200 if prepaid and delivered to the rally. I have (8) sets available. They have the black ends. Some have the rubber caps. First...
I have seen videos of deuces on the trails before. I can just about promise you the way this can go:
1: Call, run up the chain to find the right person to ask, they tell you 'no' (if the answer is in fact 'no')
2: Go ride the easy trails, get some people that wish we weren't there because we...
Off the top of my head:
URE opens April 1st, so don't go before then!
I am only an hour away and have been itching to take the dirtbike out, but I can pretty much tell you exactly what trail to stay off of based on your skill level and vehicle. You can take an open differential vehicle almost...
There are a few trails that I would consider fairly deuce friendly. I need to get down there and ride a little slower to pay more attention to how wide the trails are :-)
I know Uwharrie like the back of my hand. Unless I miraculously got my Rhino running by then the only thing I have to take is a dirt bike. All the trails are very easy if the weather is dry except for dickey bell and Daniel. Dutch john is somewhat technical but not too bad.
I have one I need to get rid of. LDT out of a 68' 5-ton. Runs good (transmission was busted) It would be easier for you to just drive up and get it though since you are only an hour away from me. I have it listed on here, $1100 if I pull it out, or $950 if you do all the work (I can lift it...
I had thought about trying to sell the jerry cans online, but since some of them may have been used before, and they are large I decided to just hang onto them until a rally and sell them there. I should have 10-15 fuel cans, and 10-15 water cans. Prices will be:
$35 water cans
$50 fuel cans...
I plan to bring quite a few of the tan Scepter jerry cans to try and get rid of. Maybe some slave cables too. I also have some 5-ton parts, if anyone is coming and wants me to bring something let me know.
Didn't see this a second ago. That is odd I have never heard that before. I KNOW I have seen pictures/video of a Deuce going through the switchback on Daniel (tightest turn in the forest). That guy must have been crazy and hopefully had power steering! I can try and get in touch with another...
There has been a deuce on some of the trails at URE before (can't remember where I saw pictures). SOME of the trails probably are large enough for even a 5-ton.
If I go through and check out specific trails before then, would anyone be interested in a military trail ride? I would probably...
