    Thanks all, I was able to negotiate a set of XL's so that is what I am going with. Is it recommended to get new tubes and flaps with every tire change? I know the flap can become stuck to the rim, and I do want to get the rims sand blasted. Just wondering if I could re-use the tubes or are...

    Rim Width VS Tire Size

    I need some help here. Ok, the stock M37 rim is 6.50" wide right? Two tire types I am contemplating, the Michelin XL and XML. Both the 11.00-16 XL and XZL tires say they fit on a 6.50" rim. The tread on a XL is 10.9" wide and the XZL is 11.3" wide. The XML 325/85 16 tread is 12.9" wide...
