That makes sense. Would the truck have trouble starting if one bank is bad? It starts immediately every time and drives perfect. What is the procedure to find out which one is dead if they all test within normal volts for me? Should I test amps?

Yes, I did the install. I pulled a single (16gauge I believe) wire to a fuse block and from there to the lights. The lights work great, I have never had any issues with them. I will check the schematics after i post this reply. I just had the chance to check all the voltages with a digital...

Being out in southern Cali, I don't think I'll have that problem, haha. Our cold weather may hit high 50's. Not enough to really phase the engine I don't think.

Another question I just thought of: If only one battery is bad, could I just unplug that series and run off the other two? It would still be 24 volts, just half the batteries.

I didn't notice. On the way out there it was fine, on the way back it was about 2 am and I didn't check where that gauge was sitting at. Will it run high at idle too or only high under load?

What are the volt levels I should see under normal operating limits? Should I test each battery individually or will that skew the test since they are in series?
