    It's been a few years since my time in the alternator shop but I think we did some of the old style Chevy one wires in 24v, I will have to ask. Did it end up being a 21 or 27 si alternator? That part of the thread was confusing.

    Go to a junkyard, find one off a Chevy truck and let your local shop rebuild it, a lot better than anything from china.
