The 700r4 is a 1/2 an inch longer, but the rubber bushing in the cross-member take up the additional length without having to drill new holes in the frame. The drive shafts remain the same length.

The transmission is installed, the adapter is installed, transfer case installed, cross-member installed. linkages and wire hooked-up. TV cable bracket prep.
Getting the oil pan gasket and rear main fix...............that was the cleanest looking oil pan on the inside that I have seen in a long time, and no cracks on any of the crank webs!
The gauges are installed and lights working, volt meter gauge works but not sure if the oil pressure or water temperature will work till I get the rest of the project done.
