    M923A2 weight ?

Can you show the statute for that? Only non-CDL info I can get is for Exempt vehicles and these don't qualify.

    M923A2 weight ?

Not a hit on you just a good example of what can happen no matter how much you plan or prepare (plus it's recent history so fresh in folks minds :))

    M923A2 weight ?

I hate to say it, but register it as a regular vehicle if you want to use to go to Home Depot or get a load of dirt and just pull the trigger on the CDL. I would if I could pass the Medical but have too much garbage running through my system. Like I said, I've researched this six ways to...

    M923A2 weight ?

A 923 doesn't meet the definition of a "Recreational Vehicle." Just saying you're using it for "recrational purposes" doesn't make it a RV. ***** From the TX Administrative Code (13) Recreational vehicle--A vehicle which is self-propelled or designed to be towed by a motor vehicle, but is not...

    M923A2 weight ?

You have 2 choices for a Class B - an Exempt Class B (which is for fire departments, farmers, large RV owners, Airline Transport and Active Military but you have to be driving one of the vehicles that fit in to that catagory - and a Farm Vehicle doesn't work because there are restrictions, such...

    M923A2 weight ?

NO, NO, NO, and NO! What's on the vehicle title shouldn't have anything to do with what is on the data tag. If you get pulled over by DPS they'll go by the data plate on the vehicle and it CLEARLY states the GVWR is 31,550 meaning Class A or Class B (depending on whether you're towing a...

    M923A2 weight ?

See my earlier post about license requirements. Class A states GVWR of the vehicle(s) towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds including vehicles in Class B or Class C A M105 doesn't meet weight requirements for the towed vehicle to take a Class A test. It's more than just backing up and...

    M923A2 weight ?

Different state = Different rules. Texas doesn't waive weight limits just because it's a Classic, Antique, or Former Military vehicle.

    M923A2 weight ?

Actually in TX you do need a Class B for the 923 because the GVWR is 31,550. If the clerk told you info based on "weight" she either thought you meant the GVWR was 21,550 or doesn't understand the statute. If you're going to tow anything over 10k with the 936 you'll need a Class A. If you...
