M923A2 Muffler repair/replace?
The exhaust will seal without the one gasket that was placed on the bottom joint. If you look the bottom has a lip the goes into the muffler. Yea the after market mufflers can hold water in the top seam and they are not painted. The ones for sale in SS are the better ones I think and were not after market but NOS. Think they can sell one for $150. plus shipping bet you 5 bucks they won't sell a new one for that. Heck they wanted 300 for a straight pipe I believe.- Floridianson
