    That's the best idea I heard. Safer and MUCH easier also. If you could save me a bit of the oil and the oil filters for analysis, I'd appreciate it. Ted

    Yes ... I will bring containers for the oil. Better to drain it and secure it rather than risk a spill. I also have a big black plastic cement mixing tub. It might be handy to use as a basin to wash parts in.

    Sorry to hear of your troubles. I didn't realize that we lived so close ... I'm just north of you in Pickens County and close enough that I could volunteer a couple days work if it would help. I'm not a truck mechanic, but I AM a good automotive mechanic and have done all the work on my own...
