    I'm just wondering if the older MEP-002A & MEP-003A where built more sturdy then the MEP-802A & MEP803A are. After all I have never seen an older MEP with water in it from normal storage. Just saying. I still would love to buy a MEP802A someday.

    I was wondering about the water issue too ! Peter in his rebuild project had a ton of water damage in all three engines. My MEP-002A & MEP-003A have set outside for years with no water ever getting in.

    I wish I could say the same thing here, but the power goes out so often I need to replace the 200 gallons of fuel in my tank I bought last year ! At least the price of diesel has gone down lately !
