OK I have done it for years. Very little was my point. I never blew a head gasket in 30 years of starting these things. Very little either is just that. Sorry for the bad advise. At least I gave him something else to try also. Last resort when the truck is needed.
I would remove the fuel filter and replace it or take it in the warm some where. It sounds like you are gelled up. I had magical results with the 911 fuel additive. I have to start diesels all winter long and that stuff works wonders. As a last resort I would spray very little either. Very...
