Easy take an IR gun in the house and check it against a pot of boiling water and an ice cube if it is within a few degrees it can be considered a good gun. Then use it to verify the trucks reading.- Csm Davis

Tbar how do you know it is over heating? The sending units are known to read high when they fail.- Csm Davis
