From one border to the other in a deuce and m105

Thank you, was a fun adventure! Especially since I spent so little during the trip. I'll keep updating the build thread on the truck. Engine swap and power steering are next! Couple months away haha

Made by the fact that my multifuel decided to destroy a valve, and some injectors stuck open requiring rebuild. Total repair cost for an engine I don't plan to keep would put me over budget to finish the trip. Staying here works because I have friends that live in this area, I like this area...

Well, looks like Hill AFB in Utah is gonna be the stopping point for this adventure. Time to start looking for a job and a place to live here

Too much black smoke and unable to idle below 1200rpm. Loss of power. Made it to my friends house at Hill AFB. Thinking a injector(s) is stuck open

Got it fired back up. The o-rings on the pump pressure regulator (pic) blew, bypassing the pressure back to the tank.

Got a late start this morning, left the campsite at noon. The deuce loves running on the gear oil/engine/hydraulic fluid mix, but does not like to start on it. Drove to the southern side of the Grand Canyon. The North side is pretty as well, traveled there on a previous trip. From there I went...

That's Albuquerque. I thought about driving through to find the house that 'Heisenberg' had (TV series Breaking Bad). I'm headed up 180 to the south rim, will be there tomorrow. I've been to the north rim once. Today sucked with the driving until just before I got to Scottsdale Arizona...

Seems like my speed issue was due to bad diesel that I picked up in Albuquerque. Back to running on oil again and 50mph when not having to work uphill. Camping in the forest about 40 miles south of the Grand Canyon in Arizona. Gonna process more of the waste oil in the morning, then head up there.

Stopped just south of Albuquerque NM for the night, staying by a Casino. Was going to turn at Socorro, but the exit was closed and that tailwind was almost enough to push the truck down the road haha
