    You wouldn't need to swap the pistons but everything else on Drew's list and it would be just remove and replace. The hardest things to get right would be the timing on the cam and IP. and if you swapped the IP there would be no need to turn it up and worry about burning up the motor because...

    Correct me if I am wrong but isn't the only difference between LDS and LDT the cam and fuel injection system? Can't he swap his to the new to him block and not have to worry about it?

    Buy another multifuel of the same displacement and clean out and reuse all of the good parts on your engine it will have same HP and while you are at it add some ARP rod bolts and a good balance job is money well spent.
