    As stated, I would swap in the "bolt on" LDS parts. If I were to swap out for "some other" motor, the 466 would be the motor of choice for me, but I think you can get a good running 6cta from Glen in Kansas for 7 or $800.

    The truck came to me with the IP turned WAY up. It was so bad that when I pulled away from a stop light, no body else moved for a minute or so. We used to call the wrecker "pig pen". It was wild how well it would go up hills though!

    I snapped the crank in my wrecker. While looking for a replacement motor, I couldn't find an LDS so I put in an LDT. Once I tuned it, she runs down the road fine.

    Nope, pull the axles out and tow-bar anywhere. Yes you will need to find a new motor to swap in if you want to keep it. Sorry to hear this. If you part it out, let me know, I'd like some parts.
