    I use the standard chain that came with the 5 tons. I can't verify that my setup is "appropriate" or correct, but I believe it to be adequate and safe.

    I popped those outer tires off to be within legal 102" limit. I don't worry about that now and just run with the duals.

    Re: RE: towing a 5 ton Yes, the M911 it is pretty big. Keep in mind that the 5 ton in the picture is an M812, the biggest 5 ton out there. The M812 rides on 14x20 tires, has the 215" wb, and is overwidth.

    Bruce is right (as usual). Never tow a heavier vehicle with a lighter vehicle. Unless you are moving something around locally or offroad, call in the big boys.
