    98G has the right idea. Ditch the 14.00's for good and go to 395s. There is a never ending supply of these now and moving forward as a huge part of the military's rolling stock uses these. You need high quality nearly new rubber with a heavy truck. Should be no prob to source some on FMTV...

    If they have not been sitting flat, you should be OK. It's the sitting flat that causes the sidewall to severely weaken and blow out. Change the crappy one like you said, keep the speed under 50, and you should make it.
