    Case in point - the 340 mile trip took an extra day, and was punctuated with a crankcase full of coolant. The 1000 mile trip is ongoing as we speak, and I can't stand the thought of another moment in the cab. Maybe it'll be complete tomorrow evening....

    That means sleeping in a moving deuce. I've done it. I've slept in a moving Bradley. Suboptimal... You don't want to be on the road with someone who is driving after the only sleep is in a moving deuce...

    I've got 1000 miles to do in my M923. I'm planning a departure Saturday before noon, and arrival late Monday night. I'm probably somewhat optimistic... I've got a 340 mile trip tomorrow. It'll take every bit of 10 hours....

    I think you're excessively optimistic on timeframe. I drove an M35A2 1300 miles or so and it took 4 days.... 350miles in a day is recreation. 550 miles in a day becomes drudgery....
