Well if it didn't hurt the pistons,valve train or turbo maybeswap in another IP if you have one or check for leaky injectors.

I've done the swap twice once with gimpy and this one solo.If you have one of those mini cameras you might be able to inspect the pistons that way but it sounds like to much fuel.I'd also look to see if any valves might be getting ready to drop is retainers letting go.
