    My tires/wheels were balanced when I picked up my truck. All the wheels have nice little lead weights on the inside so it appears that it can be done.

    The lights came with a contemporary ( or non military) connector if that's the correct word. I simply cut that off and made the connections into my truck with the standard pre-existing military style connectors.

    Congratulations! I replaced my headlamps with Truck-Lite, 7" round LED lights. They are far superior to the originals, nice and clear and bright. There is not a number on the box but their website is www.truck-lite.com, 800.562.5012...

    I have never checked my mileage. Honest truth. I know from owning a couple old Land Cruisers that if I drive em at 55 I do much better than at 65 or 70 and I'm not offended by those who seem to be in a hurry to pass; I just let them. So I assume that there is some savings if I don't push this...

    The gearing in my 1078A1 was changed and I can easily do 70 mph, I also installed cruise control. Seventy miles an hour is way to fast in this type of vehicle so I usually set it on 55 or 60 and cruise down the road.
