    I'm going to get in trouble with this thing...

    Just a side note - make sure your state law doesn't say it is illegal to be 'equipped' with a siren, as in illegal to have it on the vehicle even if it is not being used. Most states just say illegal to use on the road in a non-emergency vehicle, but some do prohibit even having one on there...
