Good info, thank you. So one needs the entire axle to do this, and not just the diff? I got lost when you said to use the air locking axle housing, but you pull the diff out of it and transfer gears. I understand moving the ring gear and such over to keep your ratio, but....- 74M35A2

ARB does not make a unit for 5T axles. An air unit was available in what was referred to as a 7 ton axle used in fire trucks, and supposedly they are similar or same as our 5T axles, but those are rare. 5T selectable hubs are expensive ($2000 per set), and not yet proven.- 74M35A2
