    M101 A1 or M1101

    A1 doesn't have surge brakes, the 1101 does. Depending on the local DOT trailer requirements, might dictate your choice. I have both and both pull nicely behind my 75 chevy long bed PU. 2WD version of your 1008. Also, unless the 101A1 has had an axle swap, tires and rims may be hard to find...
