    Something like this would work. You may need to buy a couple of them to have enough current for everything. You can put one in for the instruments and one for battery charging...

    I've not had to replace one yet. I figured if I did I would go with a different regulator.

    There is a 24v regulator that looks like the ballast from a florescent light. Grab the TM and troubleshoot that part. Make sure you have input power to the regulator.
