This is more for Jwade but, does anyone know the speculation if a private party were to auction a hemtt off of ironplanet. Ive been seeing more custom hmmwv's and M939 trucks on there lately with a pretty high starting bid.

I fore see the hemtt market to climb up to the area of where hmmwv were pre auction days if not a little higher. The trouble would be finding a buyer in today's economy. But there's a butt for every chair. I know a couple guys who sold during the scare and made $10-15k above auction prices...

I too would like to restate the thanks to jwade for all his help. Honestly I don't blame GP or IP, I blame the govt and their archaic system of handling this. Though they will take over 6 months to get an answer to us, if we need to return these they'll expect them back ASAP, and 6 months...

I am unable to find it though it referenced the previous R3 program oshkosh had for the military. I remember it in great detail as it showed the build process time lapse through the assembly line. Those requirements were a rolling chassis, with power train and crane.

So per the contract we all signed, they can demand us to return items to a dla deposition and will refund purchase price and shipping, but if they only change it to multinational how does that fare for already purchased trucks, do they ignore us? Or do they send a person out to witness...

I didn't buy my first gov't vehicle till around '13, has there actually ever been a recall for any gov't surplus vehicles. I know the M939 series was a debate but they never acted on it.

All have been pushed back to December don't expect them to be up for much longer I hypothetically expect.
