Even though this is a closed thread, I want to add this info so that anyone searching who ends up here has an answer:
Official 17GMVR dates are Oct. 18-22, 2017.
Even though this is a closed thread, I wanted to add to it that we have a handful of leftover shirts, if anyone wants one of the best rally shirts evah:

I can manage that. Everyone, carry the discussion over to the multimedia thread: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?159708-Official-2016-Georgia-Rally-Multimedia-GMVR16-Thread
Okay, there's a lot to write here. I make notes throughout the event, but there's always stuff and people I...
If you wanna' build a dog fort or make a stack, that's cool. But Durhamtown forbids the burning of pallets. Once the wood is gone, all that's left is nails and that's bad for tires.
The only thing D-town has ever been a stickler about in regards to helmets was ATVs and such. I've never seen anyone with a helmet in the back of any trucks and they've never requested it, so I'd say you don't need to worry about getting helmets for the kiddos.
And, a really big announcement.
If you were paying attention to the picture of the shirts above, you see that we have come up with some sponsors.

However, I was...
I want to clarify Pete's statement for new attendees who aren't familiar with the rally.
The field where we hold the rally has about a dozen camper spots that have power, water and sanitation hookups. As you can imagine, a rally with 500+ people sells out of these few camper spots quickly...
I talked to the insurance agent and he says we're covered for asteroids and meteors. He did say that was an unusual question he typically doesn't receive.
Ok, read this everybody:
Alright folks, we're less than a month out from D-day. So here's some friendly reminders:
Bring your...
OK folks, we're a month out. So here are some gentle reminders:
Is your lodging plan set?
Is your vehicle (civvy or military) serviced, safe, reliable and ready to make the trip?
Do you have a food plan (bringing your own, MKT, etc.)?
Looking forward to seeing everyone again!
I like that truck, really cool. Early USAF gasser.
If you come to the rally, I am sure we can find somebody to pick you up at the airport. We'll make sure you have a good time.
The event is a rain or shine event.
Now, we've always been a rain or shine event, but after doing this for 10 years, we've learned a few things.
Most importantly, the MKT has tents so people can shelter from the rain when they're eating. We don't have enough tents for all attendees at once...
