    Thanks to all for your recovery ideas. Looking back, it was an easy fix to get out. But that is hindsight. Now you have your own extreme 4X4 story to tell ! That in itself is worth the price of admission !

    Honda, do you have a winch on this truck ? Or does your Razor have a good winch on it ? You might consider moving the truck down to a spot with more access. That is if you have enough "snatch blocks" and cable and chains. If you do have a winch you can use a differential with a different gear...

    You never mentioned what kind of CUCV you have. Is this a truck (M1008 ) or the Blazer (M1009) ? What is the size of your rig if it's a truck. Is it a 14 bolt rear ? Without knowing what you have it's pretty hard to give advice.
