    My local machine shop made a big deal out of drilling the hole-- that's why I didn't mention it. Yes it could be drilled out to 7/8. For me it was easier to just order one than deal with my machine shop clown.

    Starter specialist on fleabay-- 3 1/8 d 7/8 bore 2 groove pulley, Under $20. It has a keyway in it, but you can still use it. Most alternators don't use keyways anymore. The old military pulley will NOT fit.

This set up is a quarter of the price, wont over charge and fry your electronics, and can be rebuilt or replaced without having to re-mortgage your house. Single wire hookup and very little fab work.     Take that alternator and throw it in the dumpster. Put a delco on it and your problems are solved
