I've done quite a bit with my M1082 I got from Coffee. Pulled the bed to use on a Fire truck, stretched the frame 9" to put a m109 box on it, used light transformer box to make 12v taillight converter.
That sounds like a heck of a job! I actually never knew what the bed came off of even though I've had an lmtv. I do know the flange trick will not work on a M105 bed because of fender clearance to the rear as far as a dual setup goes. I'm not sure about the A3 wheels I have made adapters and...
Making my 105 axle a dual tire setup. The trailer is a flat M35 bed, the frame is an M105 stretched to fit the bed. I always have to come up with some way to make a lathe. Maybe one day I'll get a real one....
