    As Dr.Fang says, a broken hose with a siphon could be ugly if not dangerous. For those who are worried, anti-siphon valves are available and cheap. $15 They are designed to keep fuel from siphoning into a bilge due to a compromised line.

    Thank you. Yes, very hard to put a drain in a drum. I was lucky/ patient and got a 100 gal. Round aluminum semi tank with big cast brackets for a hundred bucks on Craigslist. Complete with $125 locking cap!

    Any good tank setup has to have a drain at the lowest point to drain water/sediment off. Which by the way was an added bonus to the ultimate well nut repair. The 802 only holds half as much water with the modification done.

    Now your looking at a gummed up pump and filter. If your worried about line degradation, go with Teflon. Probably the price of a new pump - braided stainless with fittings. And no zinc, copper or their alloys. They react with diesel. Yep, no brass or bronze fittings. I know almost every engine...

    If you cannot clear the line 100%. As in flushed. You'd be better to leave it full. As in zero oxygen.

    There really needs to be a sticky made for the subject of grounding I would take the time to do it if somebody would promise they would make it a sticky. I want to puke everytime this subject it's brought up. Daybreak is 100% correct. Somebody's going to end up dying!
