    MEP-831A Does not produce 240 volts?

    If the meter reads 120 then the switch is in the wrong position. If you haven't already you ought to download a copy of TM 9-6115-639-13&P. It covers that and everything else about running the 831A. https://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?155865-Manuals-for-the-MEP-831A

    Is the toggle switch on the top of the inverter set to 240? Do NOT change the setting with the set running!
