    Door Shut and won't open

    Sounds like you've got it resolved, but (belatedly)... My deuce had this issue on the driver's door. I removed the mechanism and repaired it. It's been a few years, so I'm afraid I've forgotten the exact nature of the failure, but it's a pretty simple affair. If I were you, I'd pull it apart...
