    NSN Numbers?

    The WWII supply and technical manuals had a different numbering system. The parts manuals were known as ORD 7-8-9 for a particular SNL (Standard Nomenclature List) which was the official name of the vehicle (item, IE the Grarand Rifle had it's own SNL).
