    Just remember that you most likely (I put this in because NY may have some variences in classifications...) will need a Class A operator's permit if your trailer has a GVW of 10,001 or more. A "standard" operator's permit is good for a vehicle that weighs 26,000 lbs or less pulling a trailer...
