are you handy with a wrench? do you have time? then you can probably fix the engine. but on the other hand so can he,but 6 months seems a long time. the price would need to be cheap or i would look elsewhere.

how does he know it has 85% load? is he using a load bank to test? could it be working ok but just has a bad %load meter?

if it boggs down why not just take the new engine from the 400hz machine and use it on the faulty 60 hz model???
