The welds are all tigged. I now have a graceful way to get in the back of this thing. Grab the bars, put a foot on the tire and I'm in.

The main hoop is 2 3/8's. The other tubes are a little under 2 inches. Easier to weld. This is much better than counting on the C pillar for anything. Hopefully I don't ever test it but it is much better than nothing,

Finished up around noon and rolled a quick coat of paint on. Hope to get the whole truck painted and reassembled next week.

A little progress. The plates got cut on the waterjet today. I need to drill the angle this weekend and hopefully the pipe gets bent and welded next week. It will be as close to the shape of the C pillar as possible and have the same amount of forward slant/lean. The PVC is where I will get the...

I'm having one built up now. It will bolt on using existing holes. It will mount just behind the existing C pillar. I will post pics when it's done.
