    I'm not knocking the unit at all... and perhaps I misread the info. What I see stated for the 403D-11G is 9.3 kWm @ 1500 rev/min. I really just wanted to see what sort of fuel consumption one would find from a brand new unit with bells and whistles and newest technology, etc. At an entry point...

    Just for giggles I followed that link and looked around a bit. The 8Kw diesel unit they have there shows 3.6L/hr fuel consumption at 1500rpm.
